Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HiFi/Radio with wireless speakers

    Hi folks,

hoping someone here can be of some help.

My parents are looking for a radio of some description that outputs to wireless speakers.

The general idea is that the radio (which must have the option to pre-set stations, and not require an internet connect/media streaming) will be put somewhere within easy reach in the kitchen and the speakers will be put up out of the way.

They've just got in a new kitchen in and there's no way to run speaker cables for a typical set up. The place where they are gonna put the the speakers does have a mains power supply, so that's not an issue.

Currently drawing a blank on the best way to do this, or if its even possible.

Thanks for any help at all!

Sadly wireless speakers are a hard thing to achieve correctly. As such manufactures tend to work build ones that work with WiFi and Bluetooth ( streaming and semi streaming)
JBL do a pair of "wire free" LINK speakers . One speaker is plugged in then a speaker cable is run to the slave while the wireless emitter is connected to the source (tuner etc)

In an ideal world I would have recommended two Sonos Play1's which just require power but they are internet radio/ wifi streamers.

Beyond that its an old fashioned Micro-stereo and run cables to the speakers
