Quick question about Hardwareversand

    Hey guys.

I finally caved in over the weekend and got a €1500 build ready to order. I ordered it, but now before actually paying I checked and at least 2 components I wanted are at "red" availability now (were at green when I first selected them).

Can I just make another build, completely ignore the one I have so far (even though I already got the e-mail and all that), and pay for that one? Do they have an issue with stuff like that?

I also might switch from Paypal to Bank transfer instead, getting a bit of buyer's remorse thinking about Paypal getting 3% of the purchase, which I could probably use to upgrade one of the components.

    Thank you

As I understand it they only process the order when they receive the payment. If you dont pay them they discard the order after 2 weeks. Just be advised that theyre stock levels on the website dont seem to be a good indicator of whether they actually have that stock level. I ordered 2 weeks ago with all parts 'in stock' and was left waiting on 2 then 1 items before it finally shipped today.

Hopefully there isn't a problem with me making a second order before those 2 weeks are over, is what I mean, when I intend to discard the first one.

Sorry to hear that. I always feel a bit weird ordering stuff this close to the holidays (even if it's still weeks away), mostly because if things slow down to a crawl while these really fragile complex components are in a warehouse somewhere... Not cool.

Email them to cancel the order. They'll do it within a few days. I know they are cheap and all but their website stock levels seem to be all over the shop. Happy to pay more from a UK site who actually have the stuff their site says they have.
