Thought it might be best to put this out here. I'm on the lookout for some quality pyjamas and I've been searching online but there doesn't appear to be much of a selection out there. What bricks and mortar shops should I call in to? Obviously open to buying online as well.

There are new designer ones in Dunnes I saw yesterday, gorgeous jade green / turquoise colour with beautiful coloured print on the vest top of them, I can't remember the designer name but it's a girls name (maybe, can't remember!) it was €25 for the top just, so they're pricier than the average PJ's but they are much nicer than the average ones (not very heavy for this time of year though!)

EDit: Do not know where you're based, but was in Nutgrove SC yesterday and they were on the first rail on the right over near the Paul Costello stuff, very near the front door though, not down with the PJ's. Not sure if it was Paul Costello or the other girl designer, but they're not on the website I don't see them so maybe they sold out/only had one or two in that store, but they were gorgeous.

    Hi OP,
I'm going to move this thread to the Fashion and Appearance thread, it's more suited to there.

    Carolyn Donnelly? http://www.dunnesstores.com/cde-loungewear/carolyn-donnelly-eclectic/fcp-category/list

I buy all my pyjamas in Next these days. They can be pretty pricey but I think they're good quality, much better than they used to be.

Could be yes, I just can't remember as I was on my way out when I spotten them, and was tempted to buy for myself! If it isn't her it's one of the other specialised lines they do, pity they're not on their website.

    Next dooo have lovely stuff.
I edited my post with a link. Is that them?

    M&S.

Everything from fluffy flannel to silky.... well, silk, I suppose*.

*Possibly not ACTUAL silk, this is M&S we're talking about :D*

For some reason they had them in the Home section on the website.

yeah spotted that, bit weird, and I was searching under women's section. It's also exactly where they have them in the store, with all the candles and cushions at the front of the store in Nutgrove (so let's face it they're just too posh to hang beside all their other jammies, right?!) they're also marketing them as leisure wear but I think most people'd wear them as PJ's.

I got a lovely pair of Saville Row pj's in TK Maxx last year and they are just brilliant, so comfy and light but warm :) I got pj bottoms and a long nightshirt but they had several different styles. TK Maxx is a great place to go for pyjamas in general.
20% off everything in Dunnes today instore and online if you want the 'spensive Carolyn Donnelly ones, by the way :)

Thanks all. I'll have a look at Next in store as they seem to have the best selection. Does anyone know if their online site matches what you would see in store?

They tend to have a fair bit more online than in store in my experience, but the staff are always very helpful and if you spot something online you like that you can't find in the shop as has happened me before, if you give them the item code from the website they will order it into the store for you (free of charge) and ring you when it arrives.
