All went ok until i switched it on and now the touchscreen doesnt work. Is the different coloured ribbon the issue?

The website that i bought it from never mentioned the diff ribbon colour. As far as i was concerned it was advertised as a replacement for my version of tablet.

Have I any comeback here?
