I'm a bit late this year I know, but does anyone have any brew ideas? I'll be doing a partial mash in a coolbox with minimal equipment, money and space.

The recipe doesn't need to be Christmassy, just tasty, ideally more malty then hoppy. Our first baby is due on Xmas day so I won't have much time for faffing around. I've got a few speciality grains:

    Caramunich
    Choc Malt
    Carawheat

    Any ideas? Thanks!

Im in a similar boat, ordered new equpiment for all-grain but not sure what i can do before christmas so would like some advice...

    I have:

    10kg malt
    cyrstal 250 500g
    crystal 80 500g
    carafa special II 500g
    chocolate 500g
    roasted barley 1300 1kg

    hops:
    cascade
    saphir
    challenger
    saaz
    chinook
(100g of all above whole hops)

my friend, who is a great brewer recommends a red ale. im excited about it now

    my recipe is:

    4kg malt
    250 crystal (250)
    150 chocolate

    90 min boil
challenger at two stages: 40g at beginning, 20g 15 mins from end. 15g saaz as finishing hop

is 90mins ok or should i just leave it to sixty?

is there another brew i could do also with what i have?
