Need to get from city centre to lusk next Friday night. Is there a nightlink at 2am as per Dublin bus website from westmorland Street?
    Cheers

On that page you linked to it says 'Operative date 06/12/2013'- that should answer your question.

So they operate every year from the 6th December?

Yes, all year round on the nights stated. I rang DB about when the Christmas schedule is starting. They are expecting an announcement mid week. I think that is a bit late, as some Christmas night outs have started as of this weekend. I was just wondering about the Thursday nights...

That timetable you linked to is effective from Dec 6th last year until they say otherwise.

OP wants to travel next Friday night and expressed an interest in the 2 a.m. service to Lusk which is in the year round timetable and therefore likely to meet his requirements.

Is that in any way helpful to the OP?

OP, Nitelink runs all year round every Friday and Saturday night and the timetable on the Dublin Bus website for every bus route is currently valid.

If the timetable changes it will be around now.

Last time it was revised, four Nitelinks on my route were deleted, so I think it's relevant, don't you?

Oh for goodness sakes, the only person suggesting that there are to be changes is you.

There have been no suggestions of route/timetable changes on Nitelinks.

Stop scaremongering, because frankly that is all that you are doing. None of these contributions are helpful to the OP.

The date is of 6th December 2013 is relevant because that was when the fare change kicked in last year. The page would have been updated to reflect them. There were no timetable changes.

Well given they are required under their contract with the NTA to give at least one working week's notice of any changes (and in practice give at least 10 days notice) then I think we can be fairly sure that there are no changes next weekend.

They're after doing the same thing after me spending the last 2 Christmases asking them in advance whether their limited service on the Tuesday and Wednesday means that the 7N will be going via Dalkey (like the Midnight, 0200 and 0400 services) or to Shankhill (0100 and 0300) last Christmas I had to show a driver an email from Dublin Bus to get him to backtrack to Dalkey.

Is the 7N the only Nitelink with a variable route?

    Does leap capping include nitelink?

For Nitelink services a maximum of €2.60 of the fare contributes towards the cap
