When to pay Revenue income tax for 2013

My accountant did my accounts for me and submitted before the Oct 31st deadline.

    I know how much income tax + PRSI I owe from 1/1/2013 - 31/12/2013.

Revenue haven't contacted me in any way re. paying.

I notice on ROS that I can pay under 'Submit a Payment'. I'd prefer to just pay it and be done with it ASAP. In this section it lets me enter any amount I want to pay. Can I just put in what I owe + PRSI here? I'm sort of confused as it just comes under the heading 'Income Tax'

I'm a sole trader, if that makes any difference.

    Cheers

why didn't the accountant pay the tax due on your behalf?
if the tax returns where filed online then the tax was due 13/11/2014. I would recommend that you contact your accountant to ensure that you know exactly the amount due and then you or him pay it online.
there is no reason why you shouldn't have received your assessment at this stage.

Did you not discuss this with your accountant? Did this not come up in conversation when discussing your tax return?

    No offence but...
The only way you could end up on here asking this question is if at least one out of you & your accountant is a dumbass... Go talk to him, that's what you're paying for.

    All sorted guys, cheers.

I use the word 'my accountant' loosely. He's a family friend who was doing me a favour (he's an accountant).

Gave him a call and had it all sorted in 5 mins.
