Amazon dispatch to delivery

Just wondering what the time frame usually is from dispatch from Dunfermline to Dublin with an Post as the carrier? It was marked as dispatched today Sunday and Wednesday is the estimated delivery day. Just wondering if the estimate is accurate or could I expect it earlier?

In my experience, the An Post deliveries are usually 2/3 days to me in Dublin during most of the year.

At this time of year perhaps add a day or so on, but they're seldom much over that.

I prefer it when they use An Post over any other carrier.

I got an anpost delivery in 4 hours, a van pulled up and delivered it,they put 1-2 days delivery in time frame,they sent it at 8am arrived at 12

Just another note on this. My amazon order has an An Post tracking number but An Post have no record of it. The amazon order says:

Status: In transit
Ship Carrier An Post
Tracking ID: AZ#########IE
Latest Event: Dunfermline Fife
Parcel has been handed over to the carrier and is in transit - 30 November 2014 6:01:22

But if I put the tracking number into the An Post website it says that they have no record of it. Is this normal or should I be worried about my order? Surely I should have had an update in the past 30 hours?

It won't show up on An Post tracking until it's received at the main mail centre, don't panic

I have always found the deliveries by An Post to be very efficient usually between 2 and 4 days following dispatch, be careful if you see that your package has been dispatched with iparcel, I have found that the delivery by this crowd is VERY VERY bad, both very slow and just thrown over the wall to my back garden left lying obscured in a flower bed in the rain!!!! I have complained more than once to Amazon in relation to iparcel to such an extent that I have now closed my Amazon account and that is after using Amazon on a very regular basis for over 10 years.

I just had 3 deliveries from Amazon, estimated delivery today, still waiting for stuff that was to be delivered last week, most of the time is pretty accurate and we are quite far from an post mail centre in Kilkenny

i-parcel is a subsidiary of UPS, I have seen a long thread on the amazon.com discussion boards discussing just how useless i-parcel are, I have just added my comments to that thread too......

An Post tracker has just updated to 'On Route To Customer' so now I won't be at home to receive the parcel today. First update since it was dispatched from Amazon on Sunday. What's the point of a tracking system if it isn't used properly!

If it's the first on route to customer it tends to mean an post have received it. It will have another update tomorrow which is the one where it is actually on the van for delivery. Well that's how its worked for all of my ones

Great so do you think I could expect delivery tomorrow? I won't hold you to your answer I live in South Co Dublin so I'm not far from the parcel depot. I have to arrange to be at home to receive the delivery so I don't miss them

Off topic but you can help. How long after you ordered did Amazon take to dispatch your items? Ordered stuff which was all fulfilled by Amazon and just wondering how long they usually take to dispatch?

It can vary at this time of year, but I ordered four items around 1am yesterday, and got an email to say it had been shipped at 11am that morning.

Ordered 4 items (being shipped in 2 packages). And all items are fulfilled by Amazon. Ordered Sunday and still no dispatch! Ordered a new SD card off of Amazon.com Monday night/Tuesday morning and that got dispatched last night.

And a little further off topic. I see something on Amazon that isn't due in stock until the 12th. Is that pushing it for delivery to here (I'll be opting for the free delivery option)?

I'm in a very similar situation difference being it says estimated delivery today nothing on tracking an post and contacted amazon who said that my order was not originally assigned to an post but has been sent via a non track able service.Confused

After never hearing about them, my package was delivered via fast track courier today but it says I parcel on the package,

So, ordered something Sunday night (22:00) from Amazon UK. Still hasn't dispatched. Its 4 items in 2 packages and nothing has dispatched, despite everything being in stock.

I ordered an SD card off Amazon america Monday night/Tuesday morning (00:30). It was dispatched Tuesday evening and I have just received it now!

What is wrong with Amazon UK!
