    Hey,

I've photos from a wedding I'm trying to compile for family members. I've 76 photos at the moment after removing the crappy ones. This number will reduce to say...50 once I put them into some sort of sequence.

I've done a quick test here to see what sort of PDF I'd end up, and well, it's 385MB. That's not much good for circulating to family. Most of them are not techie people. A file of that size won't attach to an email, though I suppose I could put it on the cloud - that may not work if they want to circulate it to others. I

What I did was I used Automator via this advice and created a Powerpoint, then a PDF. Due to the final file size, I went into Preview and try the reduce file size option, which produced at 2.6MB PDF, but turned that killed the quality of the images. I tried a similar approach using Keynote, which resulted in a 178MB PDF.

What options do I have? Is a large PDF unavoidable due to the number of pics I have?

PDF doesn't sound good for something like that. How about a private Flickr page, or some sort of online photo gallery?

create a folder in dropbox and share the link via email etc and then if they want to share then they just send on the link too.

Thanks both. I'm fairly sure my aunt had a PDF of pics from her wedding a few years back. They were a high res (taken by a professional photographer, not me) and could be sent by email. I don't have any professional Adobe products, mind.

I've downloaded Picassa, but I don't want to create a Google+ personal account.

The main thing is I want to put them in a certain order, but not chronologically. There's a flow and spontaneity to some of the pics, how certain moments were captured that I think are more fun that way rather than just obvious 'church - speeches - dancing', etc. Is creating your preferred sequence possible with Dropbox or similar cloud services? I have DB, though I've not used it in some time.
