Increasing water pressure for boiler

    Hi
I have located the valve on the filling loop but the black lever has fallen off and I can't find it. Boiler is at 0.5 so I need to increase water pressure as it's reluctantly firing up when I turn it on. Any ideas how to fix or do I have to get a whole new piece put on? Please say I don't
    Thanks

Can't you turn the valve with a spanner or vice-grips?
