Planning application

    Do all planning applications have to appear on the SDCC website (when in SDCC obviously) and if so, how long after the application is made/notice goes up, does it have to appear?

    Notice went up on a site beside where we live for apartments during the week, dated 24/11, but so far theres no sign of it in the applications on the SDCC site. All the previous ones, up to the most recent in 2008 are there but no sign of the current one.

    They have 2 weeks from the public advertisement to lodge the application. The newspaper would have been published on the same day too the application would most likely be lodged the same day as the public notices (from my personal experience) but then they have to get registered, scanned and allocated a reference number with SDCC. should be on their website within a week or so and then all the documents within a week or 2.

    You have 5 weeks to make a submission from the date of lodgement not the site notice so bear that in mind if you wish to do so.
