For a start I'm a complete klutz technically.... I recently moved in to a house that has an existing Satellite feed. I bought this box and, using the Lnb in feed, I connected and got bbc, itv and others.. The only problem was that I started getting audio commentary on some channels that I couldn't get rid of so I did a factory reset and now I cannot get any channels when I try to retune except for sky channels which are all scrambled and which I really didn't want. Also at one point one of the bbc channels was unavailable because of an 'hd' issue. I figure that getting bbc etc was a complete fluke as when I looked at the instructions I definitely did something else, just can't remember what!!! Any advice/suggestions gratefully accepted

You right, it is!! But I did it. Must have been a complete fluke 1st time, 2nd time around it was much harder work.

I got the same box yesterday, I searched for terrestrial channels rte1/2 etc and found them no problem.
The way I have the sky setup is as follows: I have my sky dish going to a TV distribution box. This distribution box then send signals to my rooms. I tried the same port in the room with a skydish(no card) and it picked up the free to air channels no problem. Now using this box it cannot find any satellite channels....Do I need to change settings or what satellite should I select? Or because I'm going through a distribution box it wont work even tough the old skybox would?

If the Sky box worked, the new one should too.

You need to scan the satellites at 28 degrees east: Astra 2A, 2E & 2F; also Eutelsat 28A (Satellite names shown by the receiver may be different, but it's definitely 28 east you want.)

Have the sv-400 box and just lost all the satellite channels but still have the terrestrial ones .anyone have a plan to get them back?
