    Hi Guys,

Can ye give me thoughts on what price I should pay for a Toyota Corolla, 1.4 l, 2005 with 140k miles on it?

It seems to be in good nick otherwise and I'm going to check out the car with a mechanic but I'd love to here whats reasonable to pay?

    Thanks

Saloons are worth less than hatchbacks. Is it the prefacelift or facelift model as both were available in 2005. I'd say circa €3k maybe €3500 for a facelift model.

    Facelift happened in 04.

I'm pretty sure its post the facelift. Its listed for 3,500. Sounds like the price is in the right region...

Is that a dealer price or private?

I've never seen one myself tbh. When I was selling them in 04 you'd sell all the ones you could get, they were in that much demand, you'd be eaten alive for diesels or hatchbacks. Hire companies were looking for saloons, so anything you had could be moved easily.
They also had mph clocks so dealers were keen to get rid of them ASAP.
There's probably some jdm corollas going around with odd bits, or damaged repaired cars with the wrong front/rear ends - but I honestly think all the pre facelift stuff was regged by autumn 04

A neighbour across the road has one. Very low reg so must have been sitting somewhere.
