Best college for Maths Science

So maths is my favourite subject and I'm good at it so I want to do Mathematical science in college next year. I'm in 6th year atm.
So in UCC it is 550, UCD is 515 and UL is around 400.

First of all which is the best course and is there one that people would recommend not doing for whatever reason.

Also why is UL so low points? I'd love to live there as I was at the open day and it looks unreal but at 400 points I get the impression that there must be some sort of catch. Anyone know if this is as good as UCC and UCD maths science?

Any help appreciated and thanks in advance..

Points have nothing to do with any course. The rely solely on demand which largely depends on the number of students taken in every year.

Agreed. I know someone doing maths and physics (at least I think thats what he's doing. Its definitely maths and something) and there's less than 5 people in the course. Same with 3rd year chemical engineering too, iirc

There's no 'catch' to the 400 points mark , the points is purely based on demand. The course in UL is pretty good and it includes an 8 month coop which is good work experience and can often help you secure a job after graduating. There is a good mix of applied maths , statistics and programming in the first two years and then you can branch off into mathematics or statistics. The campus is pretty cool as well!

I don't know much about the course in UCC or UCD but I wouldn't make a decision based off how many points a course is.
