The UK/Ireland version of that TV (XXU model suffix) is Saorview approved. Not sure what you'd get on Pixmania, but I'd at least expect it to tune in & display programmes.

Can you select Ireland as a country option in setup? What kind of aerial are you using?

We picked up a Philips 32phh4309 on pixmania a few weeks ago and saoirview is not 100% compatable. We set the TV to UK just to get a signal and now all channels are working grand except when you 1st switch the set on subtitles are enabled and picture format is wrong, both can be changed in the menu and will work until the set us switched off again.
Try setting yours to UK if nothing shows up on Irish.

    Thanks for the replies.

The channel options bizarrely enough are Spain, Portugal or Other (!?!).

I'll try it again in the morning, just wanted to see if I'm wasting my time messing around with options to try and get channels installed.

There was a 'warning of sorts' on the page ....
