I remember a thread here (i think it was here anyway) where someone was talking about Lanzarote and a public pool they were swimming at etc but cant find it at all! Anyone remember? Reason is i have 5 days to take off work, i noticed flights are dirt cheap with Ryanair at the mo and hence I might try nip off either just before or after Xmas! Ive had a bit of a look and also noticed a few camps, nice few of km's in this one for instance - http://trilanzarote.com/content/buenobike-winter-bike-training-weeks

Now that i have it in my head i cant shake it :o

would you not go OW for the swimming in lanzarote? I'd love to do a week out there training, but it would kill me to be 100 yards from the beach and swimming in the pool...

Try TriSportsLanzarote. Alternatively get a flight to Malaga and i will see you on the road for a few spins between the 26th to the 5th.

If you end up staying in peurto del carmen, there's a pool in the fariones sports centre where they have a few lanes in place. Not a regular "lap" pool, but the few lanes that are setup are about 22-25m. I did a couple of long sets there.
