    Hey,

random one; I'm arriving in DUB on Sunday evening but flying out again on Monday morning. I don't have a printer so I was thinking, if I went down to departures on Sunday evening, would I be able to check in for my Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt (and onward) at Monday lunchtime?

Just save me having to collect the boarding pass at the busier time!

check in desks open just 3 or so hours prior to the flight, have you considered mobile boarding pass app from lufthansa?

The Lufthansa app allows you to check in up to 30 hours before the flight and stores your boarding pass on it.

There are surfbox pc stations with printers at Dublin airport, you could use one of them to check-in and print your boarding card or check in on your own computer and print out from a usb stick at the airport.

Lufthansa have kiosks in the departure area aswell so maybe you can check in on them! Not 100% sure though!!

I was thinking about something vaguely related the other day - did Aer Lingus introduce 24 hour advance baggage drop last year? I have a vague recollection of them doing that, but I haven't heard anything about it since.

Only if your flight leaves between 0600 and 0800

Used the app; thanks for pointer. Some good it did me though. Damn Pilots strike.

I got caught too. Plan was to visit Memmingen Christmas market on Saturday, arrive Sunday evening into Frankfurt and see the Frankfurt markets today.

Pilots strike and the only sure way to get back to Dublin was to take this morning's flight instead of the evening one as planned, so no Frankfurt Christmas markets for me. Bah.
