On Sale Sunday 30th November for €49.99

Has anyone had an experience of this product? I've seen a previous thread from last year but it didn't tell me very much.

My budget is very low and I thought at this price it might boost the sound of my tv. Can't work out whether it will work automatically with the tv or if I will always have to use my phone. I'm sure once I plug the av cables in it should be automatic. Anyone any input?

Well I got the soundbase and connected it to the sky hd box and I'm well pleased. Great sound boost.

How does it connect and how many connections can it take?

It connects by RGA cable either directly to tv or if like me you have sky, then directly to the sky box. It can also connect to any other device by bluetooth. It has an optical line cable which to be honest I could not connect to the tv and haven't had the time to research what it's for.

I'm very impressed for the price, significantly improves the sound and I can also play Tune in radio through it when I don't want to watch tv. Highly recommend.

What's the difference between the Soundbase and the Soundbar. Do they both essentially do the same job, and is it simply a matter of aesthetics as to which you choose? Or is there a practical/functional reason to choose one over the other?

I'm thinking of buying one to get improved sound from my TV, but am not sure which of the two to go for.

    Thanks for any advice offered.

Tbh im not sure but I think youre probably correct about aesthetics. I got the base unit as it fits neatly on my tv stand. Both have the rca cables so they can both connect to tv.
