Possible to get a discontinued app onto my iPad?

I recently bough an iPad to be able to get an app that would make a few things handier for me with the work I do. A few people I work with have the app.

Unfortunately, by the time I got my iPad the app had been discontinued.

I'm just wondering is there any possible way of getting the app from the iclouds my colleagues use or something like that? I know I can log into their icloud and download it onto my ipad but also know that once I log out of that back into my own account I will lose the apps associated with their iclouds.

I don't mind jailbreaking the ipad or downloading third party softward to achieve this if it's at all possible.

Any help with this will be much appreciated!

    Thanks :)

Nope, that's not the case. You'll still be able to access that app.

Depends what the app was. Some that are no longer available on the App Store can be downloaded through your purchases but some are removed altogether and can't be downloaded again.
