Asthma/ Bronchiastasis sufferer.

We have a severe sufferer from bronchiectasis/asthma in the household and in the last few months they have had great difficulty sleeping in their bedroom .

We have tried everything , constant cleaning etc and all the things one does, but it seems to make no difference .

Sometime back we had a lot of work done on that side of the house such as the wall insulation and other building work.

I am beginning to suspect that the air quality in the area may have deteriorated and wondering is their a device that can measure that ?

Any help appreciated .

I used to have severe asthma and parents went through the same check list. Eventually the hospital provided me with a portable nebuliser which seemed to do the job.
Possibly an air-purifier? Removes dust from the air. In argos they range from e39 to e300.

If looking for an air purifier then have a look at the Meaco Airvax 33 X 2.

The best filters for air purifiers are HEPA filters which can catch particles of 2-3 microns in size however the airvax uses a patented SEFF filter which can remove particles down to 1 micron in size.

This way you are removing odours such as exausts and fumes as well. You are essentially removing both particles and chemicals.
