Rent Allowance after starting job

    This week I started a new job. I was on to my local welfare office to inform them and am due to receive my last (part) payment this week.

    I was also receiving rent allowance. I expected to receive it this month because I only started the job a couple of days ago and rent allowance is paid in arrears. I haven't received anything in my bank yet so presume it's not being paid to me.

    My last payment was at the end of October for 1-31st October. I wasn't working until 24th November. Should I get it this month?
