Hi I have moved from blogger to self hosting wordpress with blacknight.

Most of the transfer has been successful but I need to fix the permalinks.
I followed a https: //rtcamp.com/blogger-to-wordpress/tutorials/permalink-seo-migration/) whereby you upload a fix.php file to the root file on blacknight. When I run the php file I get a 540 timeout error.

Anybody got any experience with this?

The blogger site is still active with my custom domain.

    Cheers

I'd have to be honest, but i know fck all about blogger.

However the first two things to test would be the following -

is the fix.php in the right place - you can test this in your URL - type in the location for fix.php and see what the result is:mysite.com/fix.php

    also

If you remove the fix.php can you reach your url/or any url?

    C
