Chronographs Not Quite Lining Up Correctly

    Hey Folks,

I noticed with some of my chronographs recently that the second hands and other markers aren't lining up as they should. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen? I know there's scant detail but is it likely to be expensive to have adjusted? It's happened on a few Seiko's and a Parnis.

    quartz or automatic?

I know quartz chronographs usually have a procedure that allows you to reset the hands.

AFAIK for seiko chrono's : "Pull the crown out one click, then press either the start/stop button or the reset button to adjust the position of the chrono's hand."

    Thanks Fret,

I got it sorted with the your info and the video below:

I didn't know you could reset the hands in that manner.

They are all Quartz watches. Seiko's seem to be fine though there seems to be a little too much play on the Parnis' second hand. I wonder is it possible to have a jeweller/watchmaker tighten/adjust that? Would it be costly?
