    H,
Can anyone help with the best process to use when using heated rollers? I'm trying to get a curl/wave in my hair to hold but it doesn't seem to work. I have a function at the weekend and trying to create a masterpiece but it ain't working!!Should I wash my hair the day before..on the day..what spray to use..etc help!

I have fine hair and when I've used hot rollers in the past I've dried my hair about 60%, combed through mousse, popped the rollers in and covered with an old pair of tights (yes, I'm a classy burd), leaving them in til the hair is completely cold... that's about 3 hours for me, sometimes more. I love Aussie Hi Shine Hi Hold hairspray, it seems more flexible than other hairsprays (not crispy!) and creates a lovely shine.

I wash my hair the day before and give it a spritz of water when I want to curl it to dampen it. I pop in all the rollers, I use all of them (36) and roll in small sections
I leave them all in until cold. So if Inwas going out at 10pm I'd put them in at 6/7 and leave them in while I eat, wash dishes, shower, get dressed and taking them out is the last thing I do before I put my coat on!!

My hairdresser gave me a tip for using rollers with fine hair: don't use conditioner and the curls will hold better. Tried it for a wedding a couple of weeks ago and it worked (although I used a curling tong rather than rollers, the curls didn't just 'fall out' which is nice :) )
