I was wondering if it's harder to get into a university/college from an institute of technology through the advance entry route? My application from ITT to DIT looks unlikely and I was wondering if I should even bother at all trying to transfer into…

I'm in the process of trying to transfer colleges when I go into 2nd year. I was wondering if it's harder to get into a university/college from an institute of technology through the advance entry route?
