1100 build check

Hi,

I’m looking for advice/ideas re the following build based on a preconfigured one on hardwareversand.de

1. What is your budget? €1100 (not a hard ceiling but obviously I would like to stick to it or lower even)

2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming – total war, paradox and civ games mostly, basic photo processing raw files, streaming tv/movies

3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes

4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No (I have a blu ray rewriter in my old Qosmio laptop, could this be put in to this pc down the road?)

5. Do you need a monitor? No – using tv as a display, may buy monitor later

6. Do you need any of these peripherals? No

7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Doubtful

8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser]

9. When are you purchasing? Flexible / 2 weeks / no hurry

10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Getting prebuilt

Do I need a network card, sound card etc. installed on the pc or is there anything else important I should add? I’d like it to be capable of upgrade over time to stay current. Also the less noise the better or other suitable case.

A friend is suggesting I get 16GB of RAM instead of the 8GB I included above.

Also wonder if I should bother with the i5 4690K or rather go with the i5-4690 or i5-4590 if I'm not going to bother over clocking
