Quick question...would a beginner notice the difference between an Image Stab (IS) Lens on a canon100d over the much cheaper III telephoto lens ? Are they worth the extra money or am I throwing good money after bad till I get more experienced and get more use out of the camera. Thanks

It all depends on the lens really. Which lens are you thinking of buying and which lens do you have now?
