Ok help please. I picked this game up for the kids. I know it has a 2 player function but I cannot engage it. The Controller is synced and batteries are new. In the game it has ''press + to start'' beside the other character but I press + and nothing happens. I have tried every button on the controller. Im going to have a melt down if I dont get 2 player mode sorted.

The game is a bit buggy as far as controllers go, I have the PC version and the 2nd players controls arent enabled, had to go in and rebind them myself. Go into the options menu, and look if there is an option for "Controller configuration". The PC has a "select device" option to choose what pad you use, there might be a similar option on the WiiU version for selecting Wiimotes or such.

Sorry cant give more detailed help, no idea what the layout of the WiiU menus are.

    Stupid questions :
are you playing on the telly, the Gamepad or both?
I don't have Batman 3 but on Lego Marvel when you enable the 2nd player the 1st player's display moves to the Gamepad screen. IF you're not looking at it, basically nothing happens.

What's your 2nd controller - the Pro Pad or Wiimote?
(while it seems sensible this is a stupid question unless, and only unless you're pressing + on the Gamepad and trying to work the 2nd player off the right hand stick. Which I guess isn't impossible but highly unlikely!)

Are you pressing + on the Gamepad or on the second controller?
HEy, lets rule the easy stuff out first :)

They play on both gamepad and tv.

We have the gamepad & wiimote. I was hitting the + on the wiimote but nothing happens.

In the options it lets me sync the wiimote and it works fine with the hand moving on the tv screen but when I resume the game the only button on the wiimote that has an effect is the home button..

Are you saying I can use the gamepad as player 1 and a wiimote as player 2?

Do you have a nunchuck attached to the wiimote? The wiimote alone wouldn't be enough to play with.
