Wanted: Garmin ANT+ Heartrate Trasmitter (not the strap)

Just looking looking for an ANT+ (think it has to be a Garmin model) transmitter that snaps onto the HR strap. I'm having issues with the original transmitter, a replacement from a mate doesn't work and a 2nd hand one I got on eBay doesn't work.

Would it not possibly be something else if you've tried two other transmitters that I assume worked before hand?

Possibly an issue with the metal contact points on the strap?
