Fm transmitters are not the greatest in terms of sound

for 3 euro you get what you pay for, if you want concert quality music you'd have to upgrade stereo with aux jack etc..... €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€s

fm transmitters do the job fine imo

Get yourself a Kenu AirFrame for the phone

Get a dedicated hands free like parrot or novero trusty one, can be installed for around €199. I have the novero trusty one and it's brilliant.

I use it for playing music or satnav. You can listen to the radio and have the satnav then cut in to give direction. And of course hands free.

Then get a car charger and cable of your choice.

I've just bought an 05 VW Polo and I'm looking for the best way to hook my phone up. I'll need to charge it in the car and would also like to play music through the speakers. I might also use it as a Sat Nav (is Google Maps better than a dedicated Sat Nav?).

The car has a CD player and tape deck but doesn't appear to have an aux in. With that in mind, I was thinking of buying the following:

Do yea guys have any better suggestions for a solution? I could just buy a bluetooth stereo I suppose but they seem very expensive.

Is there a mount out there that also charges the phone?

Check Aldi, the store in Tallaght had 1 in the cabinet for about €50, I bought 1 for a friend a qhile back, has Aux in, takes Sd cards, nearly sure also Bluetooth.

You could try to install it yourself, could be just plug and play.
