It's been ok so far this season , but it really has been hit or miss for a few years now, even as a casual show to dip in and out of.

For a long time I felt like it had far too many cast members who would appear either every other episode or just be totally necessary to the the show.

I can still see this having the number of viewers to go on though I'd say they are a long way off their peak now.

I couldn't see it being cut yet, maybe another season or two anyway depending on ratings. I used to watch the early seasons, stopped, and got back into it last season. For every three or four blah episodes, there's usually a fairly good one so it sort of balances out. But yeah, there was a point where there was just too many people!

Eads was the last remaining original cast member - so his departure must also be a sign that the show is much nearer the end than the beginning.

Its glory days ended when William Petersen left, anyway.

I like the addition of Danson but tbh I felt there was too many series regular cast members

Ted damson is good in the series, but I haven't been liking the story lines the last few seasons. It is either hit or miss.

I could really be the end is near in the next couple of seasons.
I was disappointed CSI ny was cancelled. Much stronger story wise

I wonder if they'll blow it up and have some serious shocks, or will it be a regular double episode?

Strange not seeing Nick in it to be honest.

Happy endings all round after 15 years.

Not A BAD ending. I was hoping the last crime would be much better.

Loved the " jumped the shark" line by Grissom.
