    Hi

Quick query in relation to vat - client took out a 25 year lease of a retail premises from developer in 2006. The capitalised value of the lease for vat purposes at the time was € 4 million. As the building was larger than required for client they sub let 25% of the building to a dental practice in 2007 by way of 9 year lease.client has not waived its exemption from vat on short term lettings?

    Vat implications?

Lots of them; if by "client", you mean someone you're charging then refer them to a VAT specialist.
