Too late in the yr for liquid screed

    As the title suggests, is it too late in the yr for liquid screed? I'm worried about drying time as it needs 28 days before the heating can be turned on and the possible side effects if we get a bad winter frost (what can happen?) Sand and Cement seems to be the other option; feedback appreciated.
