11 speed on fh6700 hub

    Is it possible to fit an 11 speed cassette on a ultegra 6700 hub .

    I wouldn't rule it out.Theres only a little over a millimetre difference in total width between 10 and 11 speed,so for example if you are using a spacer inside the 10 speed,leave it out and try.

    Are splines the same? If so you're maybe right... the spacer is +/- 0.7mm, but I guess you may find another 0.5mm clearance on the lockring side...

    I've seen a shimano "adapted" by filing down the small butts at the ends of the splines individually
    Tedious work but saves a new hub or wheel

    I have tried this but couldn't ge it working.
    With some persuasion you can just about get the lockring to start to engage a thread or two but the smallest sprocket will not engage the splines on the freehub and just spins.
