Hudl 2 VS Fire HDX?

I'm looking to get a Tablet for my parents for the Christmas, nothing too fancy or expensive, but by the same token nothing too cheap either.

I think I've narrowed it down to either a Tesco Hudl 2 or an Amazon Fire HDX, there's only £30 in the difference (Hudl 2 is more expensive)

Now just try to figure out which one is the better buy..

Which would you choose and why?

Would love to hear all of your opinions and feedback :)

    Thanks!

I bought the Hudl2 two weeks ago. Great tablet. I also have a 2103 Nexus 7. It's a bit heavier but it's also 1.3" bigger. Good screen resolution and battery life. It does have rather a lot of Tesco bloatware but you can disable some of the apps. All I have left is a small 'T' in the top left corner of the screen. Doesn't bother me. You could also root it if you find it annoying. I find the Nexus tiny now compared to it! Great for watching movies on!
