Ford focus 08 can't connect phone via bluetooth although could last week

    How can I get pairing code on my 08 focus my phone finds Ford audio but no code comes on stereo like it used to anybody help plan pissing me right off now

    No idea but most of the time the code is 0000 or 1234 unless stereo generates a new code each time.

    My Sony car stereo used to generate the pairing code 4 me but now it doesn't generate code anymore I've tried 1234 & 0000 an my galaxy s5 says error pairing to Ford audio but last week it was fine my phone has the latest firmware after update an still nothing I need 2 know how 2 get the stereo 2 generate code again like it used 2 wondered if was a way 2 reset it?? Thanks very much 4 your reply

    Something similar happened once or twice before with my Focus - On the radio/audio console, try deleting all bluetooth bindings - look for the 'debond' menu item.

    Remove any bluetooth bindings, and try pair the device again.

    It was as simple as that for me and appears to be a bit of a thing with the Ford Audio systems.

    EDIT: Sorry - just saw that it was a Sony radio and not the standard issue Ford Audio system. My bad.

    Yeah thanks I've got no phones bonded with the stereo it's just stereo won't generate a new pairing code plus help annoying
