As some of you may know we had our training bikes stolen recently so I will need to replace mine. I was hoping to replace it with something similar so any ideas or recommendations in the 1k bracke .m/s carbon frame with ultegra group plus decent mavic wheel set would be my preference but I'm Open to suggestions .

I don't think you'll get a carbon, ultegra groupset & good wheels for anywhere near 1k I'm afraid. Unless you mean second hand.

This is carbon and Ultegra...today only though.
Not sure how it fairs up against the other bike linked..

That is the bargain of the year any force 22 bike in LBS would be over €2000 the groupset alone is €700 plus. Offer sickens though me paid more than that earlier in the year with a 105 group and bought a Force 22 groupset myself! 105 went on a winter bike and built it with my own wheels and finishing kit. What height are you? I got a medium though at 5' 8.5" PX recommend a small. There was a big jump in head tube length between the two probably could have fitted but no way could I have slammed the stem. The medium was also closest in geometry to my medium px sl pro

Just to say though it is a pure race bike it is very stiff it's not uncomfortable but my sl pro is like an arm chair in comparison for soaking up the buzz on rough roads. I love it though great race machine. You can get sl pro with sram rival 22 for the same money or if you go with 10 speed rival or 105 you can save another €200

Thanks Ryath, @5;8 myself i was thinking the medium would make for a better fit,the race geometry is what I'm looking for and what I'm use to, I rushed into buying a M/L DEFY and i just can't get use to the more relaxed fit plus its to big for me ,
PS for sale M/L Gaint defy 1...:)
