Media Player

Apologies if this has been asked before but all the threads I found are old ones. I'm looking for a recommendation for a media player that doesn't require wifi. Basically it's for someone to connect it to a tv when they are away in a mobile home which doesn't have wifi. I'd like to have movies/box sets etc loaded onto it. The movies/box sets would either be ones that i have on DVD or else downloads from itunes. Does something like this exist? Everything i've seen is for streaming content but that's not an option. It also needs to be small for transporting, just watching on a laptop isn't a runner either.

Any recommendations much appreciated.

This one is mainly for network use and would require an additional hard drive plugged into it. Not something the OP is looking for at all.

Many thanks, they look like they'll do the job although i was hoping for something a little smaller to transport!

Given the use-case you quoted, would you consider a media player without a HDD and use a flash stick to hold the media?
Flash sticks these days can have quite large capacity .....

This is a GREAT media player and is tiny

Just stick in a thumb drive or portable hdd.

Yes definitely, in fact that would be ideal as the box could stay there and could just being the flash drive each time.
