CPU/Mobo/Ram Upgrade €500

I built my current pc in 2009 and was thinking about getting a motherboard upgrade so I could use 2 SSDs at their full speed. At the moment Ive got one connected in SATA 2 mode and the other is using a PCI adapter card.

So this has me thinking about a cpu and ram as well obviously. I can re-use my case, power supply, graphics card, dvd drive and peripherals. I would need Windows 8 I suppose. I have an 24" TN monitor and might look into an IPS panel if the funds allowed, but its not crucial. The main things is the core bits.

The system is just for gaming. Any advice / suggestions for under €500 would be great.

I wouldn't upgrade just for SATA 3. SATA 2 is just fine for SSD's as the Random Reads and Writes are plenty fast.
