Ford Ka Part Question

Hi folks, My brother's 2007 Ford Ka needs a new dashboard assembly (something is burnt out in the electronics, so the backlight is not working - not ideal for night driving). My question is this - before I hunt down the part, do I need the exact dashboard from the 2007 model, or is the part the same in 2005, 2006, 2008…

Hi folks,

My brother's 2007 Ford Ka needs a new dashboard assembly (something is burnt out in the electronics, so the backlight is not working - not ideal for night driving).

My question is this - before I hunt down the part, do I need the exact dashboard from the 2007 model, or is the part the same in 2005, 2006, 2008 etc.? (I know the 2nd generation of Ka started in 2009).

OK I just found out that they're the same from 04-08.
