I have question, I sold my car las week so now I would like to cancel my insurance due I have no plans to buy a new car for a few months, the think is, after sold my car I drop my disc to some shelf, but now I'm not able to find it, the thing is that the insurance company will request the old disc…

Hi, how you all are well!
I have question, I sold my car las week so now I would like to cancel my insurance due I have no plans to buy a new car for a few months, the think is, after sold my car I drop my disc to some shelf, but now I'm not able to find it, the thing is that the insurance company will request the old disc to get my insurance cancel, do you know if the disc is a mandatory paper to get cancel the insurance?
