Just a warning for anyone living on East side of Athlone about alleged break-ins that have occurred in the last few weeks. I live on a road off the Ballymahon Road and I was told earlier today that there have been 5-6 houses targeted in the immediate area in the last week. Worryingly, they are apparently trying to get…

Just a warning for anyone living on East side of Athlone about alleged break-ins that have occurred in the last few weeks. I live on a road off the Ballymahon Road and I was told earlier today that there have been 5-6 houses targeted in the immediate area in the last week. Worryingly, they are apparently trying to get in/getting in at night when people are in the house. May be gossip and might be exaggerated, but wanted people to know to keep your eyes/ears open. Stay safe folks.
