Flying Emirates Business in a few weeks which allows access to the DAA Executive Lounge, never been in the Dublin lounge before.

Their website is scarce on info... what exactly is available by way of food / drink? I'm guessing alcohol is out of the equation as you can purchase access to the lounge for 20 euro

I don't remember there being much. Tea, coffee, crackers in plastic and cheese.
The Business lounges in Dubai are horribly crowded (if you're going there).

There is drink available - wine beer and spirits. They do have a sign saying only 2 drinks per person but generally people would've be there foruch longer.

The food is mainly snacks - croissants etc. cereal in the morning.

The DAA lounge is fine. Although less comfortable and the staff are less friendly then the EI lounge but there is a slightly better selection of food / snacks.

They have cans of Heineken, Bud, Guinness and Bulmers from memory and unlike the EI lounge they actually have pint glasses for them. Snacks and food include, muffins, Danish pastries, crisps , nuts etc... It's not the worst value in the world if you are planning to have a couple of pints at the airport bar it's the guts of 12 euros.. So for peace and quiet a couple of drinks and something to nibble on it's ok.

Heers guys. I'm sort of confused cause another forum mentions an Etihad lounge but elsewhere says etihad use the daa one.

I think your confusing two different airlines

Etihad Airways => use the Etihad lounge (the best lounge in Dublin in my opinion)
Emirates => use the DAA lounge

There are notices up limiting alcoholic drinks to two per person but I haven't seen that being enforced. As long as you don't draw attention to yourself by being drunk or constantly getting drinks you should be fine, I know I had three ;)
