My niece has a 2001 Corsa ( 1L/ 3cyl) and the engine has given up in a big way. I haven't been able to locate another engine so far. It seems that the engine was changed in some way(s) around 2000. It seems that the engine was changed in some way(s) around 2000.
Both engines (pre and post 2000) are 1L 3 cyl .
A dismantler near me has just taken in a 1998 Corsa with a good engine and 107 K mls .
He has been told that the older engine can be fitted to the later car but he hasn't actually seen it done .
Just wondering if anyone on here knows if this is possible (or not ).
Any help appreciated .
