Does anyone else lie in bed and think that maybe the angelic voiced Chris got his angelic voice because he is an actual angel sent to Earth to guide us to ascension?

Here's a list of Facts that hint toward CdB being an etherial being.

FACT Chris de Burgh gave birth to the best looking child ever, Rosanna.
FACT Chris de Burgh can count backwards from 1000027 - 1 in just under the amount of time it would take you or I to count from 1 - 1000027.
FACT He is exactly 66 years old. Thats one digit (6) away from being 666. The number of the devil, lucifer who was also once an angel?

If you think these are just coincidences thats fine but I think it points to a bigger picture.

I've heard that when he was a child, his teeth all fell out, one by one, and larger teeth grew back in their place.

Just go back and read last year's thread, there'll be no change this year. I still say it's this:

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

I never ever get tired of Merry Christmas Everybody by Slade.

Really old skool and sounds happy but kinda poignant (the chords at the start and through it) at the same time.

I love the first times you start hearing it on the car radio, shopping centres etc in late November/early December.

I don't have one, after one day of radio play they wreck my head. Same recycled scour. Ill choose radio 1 for my listening this season.

The haters will be along any minute now :)

there's something about this song that just gets people riled up.

I like it. You generally don't hear it on the radio until december so I use it to gauge when xmas starts.

My all-time favourite "Christmas" song, on the other hand, is a song about how Christmas sucks:

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. I'm not particularly religious, but two of my favourite Christmas songs are actually carols. I've lived in the UK for the past few years, in a city with a very strong choral tradition (in that Anglican tradition with the boy choristers) and both of these are incredibly stirring & beautiful pieces of music which I was unexpectedly moved by when I heard them:

Pogues for me. Although, if you listen to the radio a lot you'll end up hating it. Especially if you're a regular ray darcy listener.

    I like these aswell

Traditional songs I'll go with this

Prefer this to the grossly overplayed 'Fairytale of New York'

Other fav xmas song is The Ramones, "(Merry Christmas) I don't wanna fight tonight"

never really thought about Chris being etherial before, but for someone that annoying with such a crap voice, to have not had several shades of sh1t kicked out of him every couple of weeks, there is definite divine intervention there. And the Rosanna thing also

The Pretenders 2,000 miles is brilliant though, and more christmassy than the proclaimers.
