Mortgage approval through broker

    Hi just quick enquiry

We are going for a mortgage through a broker at the moment.

Just heard back from AIB and they would like us to come back in six months and we should be successful.

They want us to continue with our savings but their concern was with the credit card. They want us to consistently reduce amount and not pay it off in a lump sum which we could do.

We are waiting to hear back from KCB and ptsb so my question is

Will they come back and say pretty much same thing or would we still have a chance at this point?

I I'm happy enough with the outcome as we know what we need to do

    Just additional information
    We are mid thirties married
I'm a permanent teacher and husband a chef
Our gross income is approx €77k
We have two children of pre school age

    Thanks in advance
