Does anyone know where to get old slides converted to digital DVD or prints? I got a quote for 50 euro's for 100 slides from a local camera shop in Waterford. Is there anywhere else? Thanks.

Depending on what you want to do with them, you could take a photograph of them with your own digital camera? Or, perhaps you or a friend has a scanner. Neither of those will get you great or very high resolution images but you could at least share the pictures digitally.

You can get a film scanner (check amazon and the usual places on teh internets) for around that sort of money, which would give you the chance to do them at home and maybe do more if you discover them in the attic/back of the couch etc!

Occasionally the discount supermarkets do film scanners, so if you're not in a rush you could wait till then?
