    Hi
Just moved to Carlow with a 14 mths baby. Can anyone recommend crèches, childminders, babysitters and all things baby related? Best park, child friendly restaurants, activities etc etc

There is a parent/toddler group in Askea parish centre every Wednesday that was pretty good. Might be finishing up tho soon. There is really only the one park in Graiguecullen, that i can think of

Tippy toes on Green Lane is brilliant for crèche. A few others we were sceptical of being honest. You will have to check out yourself really. Carlow town park is the only one in the centre, the blue barn is closed now? Can someone confirm that? Delta sensory gardens is great from 2 years on. The Dome is open again, not sure what its like now though.

Blue barn not closed, was there last week but it was manic, no one keeping an eye on kids, loads of parties going on, quoted during the week i think.

Welcome to Carlow. Mad as it seems, if you are interested in a particular primary school, some work on 1st come, 1st served, at present, so you may need to get your child's name down asap.
