The Bank Bailout in Ireland probably helped them to do it!

Didn't adidas, auidi and allianz all buy shares equating to 25%/30% to massively help out with the payment? Think i read it somewhere the other day.

They share the stadium with 1860 Munich so that'd cut down their portion as well

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

They had to buy 1860 out because the latter fell behind in payments.

There were rumours 1860 would leave the stadium at 1 point

1860 couldn't afford their part anymore, so Bayern bought them out back in 2006 or 2007. 1860 is now only renting it for their home games at very reduced rates from Bayern.

That's the Bundesliga finished as a competition then.

Its what they are aiming for (an LOI tradition). Football doesnt work that wayit always finds a way.

Man United & Arsenal thought that when they built/upgraded their stadiums...

I think its fair to say the circumstances are somewhat different. Aren't ownership rules much stricter in Germany? Unless an oligarch or oil sheik moves into some german club which the intent of overturning the status quo then Bayern's grip on the Bundesliga is looking pretty solid.

You're looking at it wrong. Stricters Ownership rules means all German Clubs arent looking for a sugar daddy. They are all operating within their means far moreso that their English counterparts.

In relative terms, my point stands.

Well, yes ....and Bayern's means are now off the chart in relation to that of their rivals.

Wish they would, the old Olympic Stadium was magnificent, still a must visit in Munich.

Not so - It has a running track. Any football stadium with a running track big or small is appalling to spectate from. Fans in stadiums come first.

Been to a few games here and abroad with tracks and its awful.

Remember been at the RSC once you needed binoculars to see the game from behind the goal.
