I can't find any pictures of an upper bridge on someone with a high smile line. Are they not done? If they are done, how is the base of the tooth blended with the gum, would it not stand out really badly?

A bridge can look good in a high smile line, but it need carefull gum preparation to create a hollow in the gum the false tooth can sit into.

All restorations have problems in high smile line patients, implants, bridges, dentures etc. Trying to make the gum an the tooth look good is difficult, time consuming and expensive. You might consider going to a dentist with greater experience and the labroatory backup for these fine aesthetics cases
